Keep The Shoals Beautiful is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the Shoals area of North Alabama for the purpose of engaging in all charitable, scientific, literary, and educational endeavors. As a certified affiliate of Keep America Beautiful (KAB), Keep The Shoals Beautiful supports innovative, locally-focused programs that address the specific needs of the Shoals’ diverse geographies and populations through KAB’s replicable framework that promotes grassroots volunteerism and makes sustainable improvement possible for communities of all sizes. Using the fundamentals of a time-tested approach, Keep The Shoals Beautiful’s vision is to reach deep into our community to effect meaningful, positive changes through community education and hands-on stewardship that reduces litter and waste.

To achieve this vision, Keep The Shoals Beautiful aspires to reflect the diversity of experiences, ability levels, and backgrounds that define our region through its staff and board of directors. Creative content specialist

Keep the Shoals Beautiful is seeking a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Creative Content Specialist to help tell the story of our mission through engaging digital content, photography, graphic design, and community outreach. This position is responsible for creating compelling marketing materials that educate, inspire, and encourage community involvement while maintaining a consistent and professional brand across all communication platforms. The ideal candidate enjoys both creative work and being out in the community, capturing the impact of environmental programs and volunteer events. This is a temporary, grant-funded, part-time position with a hybrid flexible work schedule for an average of 5 hours per week compensated at $20/hr.
